Rebecca Marie Farrar, M.A. is an astrologer, writer, and lover of life who lives in San Francisco (or Man Franpsycho as she likes to call it). She has been an astrologer for the past six years–and a skeptic for five years before then. Her past experience includes studying with archetypal astrologer Rick Tarnas, working as an astrological apprentice, and being a founding member of Burning Man’s first astrological camp Cosmicopia. She loves diving deep and uses a depth psychology lens for her sessions that can be held in San Francisco or remotely.
Before becoming an astro geek and entrepreneur, she worked for more than a decade in PR and marketing and had brief forays as speed dating hostess, spokesmodel, yoga instructor, and world traveler. In 2013, she completed her M.A. at the California Institute of Integral Studies in the Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness program. Her thesis, titled “Stargazing: Re-enchantment Through Language,” combines philology, consciousness studies, and enchantment with the stars. (Warning: She will talk your ear off if you ask about it.)
When not staring at her transits she can be found wandering Ocean Beach, posting on Instagram, or curled up with her cat and a good book.
