They strive to provide high quality fresh and dried herbs, hard to find nursery plants, and community care through farm classes and a free mobile herb clinic. Their apothecary offers tea blends, tinctures and holistic skin care products. Their products are made in small batches and made in harmony with the seasons.
Cutting Root Apothecary
Cutting Root is an organic medicinal herb and cut flower farm, artist residency program, community apothecary and education space. Growing over 150 different species of medicinal herbs and flowers, they offer dried organic herbs, tea blends, tinctures, skin care, syrups and dried flowers. Seasonally, live plants, fresh herbs, and cut flowers are also available.
Healing Spirits Herb Farm
Since 1982, family-owned and operated Healing Spirits Herb Farm has been working their 30-acre farm using organically and biodynamically methods to harvest their medicinal herbs. The herbs are certified organic, ethically wild-harvested, handpicked, sun-dried and manually processed into tinctures, teas, salves, creams, infused oils, liniment and floral essences. Meanwhile, the farm’s resident bees are happy to pollinate the herbs and produce honey and beeswax.
Hillside Botanicals is a certified organic hemp and medicinal herb farm located in the rolling hills of Central Vermont. Initially started as a hobby farm in 2018, it has since expanded to become a flourishing agricultural enterprise, providing seedlings for vegetables, herbs, medicinal plants and flowers. They also carry CBD-infused salves, tinctures, teas, oils and elixirs in their apothecary.
