Founded in 2007 by Juliet Blankespoor, the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine is nestled in the botanically rich Southern Appalachian Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. The school aims to connect people with plants and the earth through teaching about bioregional herbal medicine. Offerings include the Herbal Medicine Making Course, the Foraging Course: Edible and Medicinal Wild Herbs, and the Herbal Immersion Program. Programs are 100% online, some are self-paced and open for enrollment anytime, while others close their doors every Spring.
